Dairing Events: Looking back on a Dairing 2015!

Dairing Events: Looking back on a Dairing 2015!: It has always been my practice to get one new agenda each year, a full year calendar, where I have little squares to fill in for what I am ...

Dairing Events has Adair. Adair is in God's hand. A friend of Adair by the name of Whitney was at her soon to be husband's family cabin with her soon to be family. The iPhone's posted photo noted her location. The mystery must be solved. Adair checked out Whitney's location because she knew that Whitney and Dane were to be married the next Saturday. Ring Ring, Hello. Good evening this is Splendor Mountain.

The next weekend or so Matt and Keri are here with Adair because she thought that her brother Matt and Keri would like to marry here.

Trust that there is a plan plus in this case a wedding planner with the most incredible talents, in your life.

You too, may see that destiny is in God's hand as well.

Does This Look Familiar?

Since the last time God's Galax had my attention was August, this page looks, to say the least, daunting. The truth of the matter is, it is a familiar experience for me to be the writer of things which when read later, I wonder whether or not that was the scribblings of myself or not. The writing is mine the style is mine. It's just that, if I really felt strongly enough about the subject to write something down and then leave it laying around for anyone, even myself to find, just how did I survive another day? Pop up off the couch and get on with life. Sure, we have all kinds of ways to gush out. I just reconnected with Twitter and The Blog, today. I am not in the most comfortable seating arrangement, I am sitting on a wooden bar stool, possibly stretching out my favorite pair of corduroy pants.

The real subject is survival. Let's keep going. We will make it, see you at the finish line, the sweetest thing will be seeing you and saying, you made it, me too.

Marveling that the Galax has color in it all year long. My walk in the woods, was nice. I began to ponder a question which my Google prowess has not given a satisfactory answer to. That is, does every bit of blood in our body at one time travel through a chamber of our heart? If so then I will go ahead and quote my scripture, A merry heart doeth good like a medicine. When it comes down to it, our heart really does have to be in the right place.

Taking time off from the day to day of Woody's, which began to feel like a party I planned for and never had an opportunity to recover from, was a great idea. We will open again in April.

Splendor Mountain is such a beautiful property, just waiting for these creative people, whom God created, to come up with their very own purposes for being here. You will. I know you are out there. I am not alone and my God created you.

Back to what is or is not familiar. Ponder this, since we all started at the same place and the finish will be the same for all, let's only call anyone who wants to keep us from knowing the truth, our enemy.

Work Eat

Ok I thought working was going through the cook book making a list shopping putting the groceries away and arranging the items for the creation of the recipe I found in the cook book that I wrote the ingredients for, that I shopped for.

Well, apparently working is running two businesses and taking care of dental and annuals at the veterinarian.

Not to mention washing linens at 3 tourist accommodations.

Oh and answering phones and e-mails. Cold calling in some cases. Looking for contacts. Oh yes I better get into town to pay my Chamber of Commerce dues.

Stacking and re-stacking the bills from the Air conditioning man after making several calls to assure the next guests that they would have all the comforts of home. The folks that had to put the new oven panel in would like for their bill to not end up on the bottom of the stack.

I am realizing that in such a beautiful area TV could be removed from the cottages. Directv would still get some of my, hard earned pay?

Well, we have the caterer coming . The flowers ordered. The DJ on. The bartender will be here, and the hair stylist and the makeup artist. The lawns will have a beautiful look. The pest control company will help to keep dive bombing gnats out of 80 wedding guests eyes, that is 160 eyes.

The recycle bin must be emptied and hauled to our conveniently located recycle center.

I hope that all the tablecloths will be wrinkle free when all is said and done.

I love my work. God has given my the ability to enjoy my labors. He is the source of all joy.

Life's Worth the Living

A live dog is better than a dead lion. That is a proverb right out of the Bible and has been my standard response to OC at Ingel's when he answered my inquiry of how are you with I'm here. Lately he has been answering with a bit of hopefulness.

Yesterday was another day fully worth living. My darling friend beat me to Woody's Filling Station and after her arrival called me as I was loading my car with groceries. "Where are you? We have customers." I missed the leather clad customers. I am sure they will be back, because they feasted on Kathy's fun zeal and zest for life.

Our only customers of the day were a couple of millionaires. They were not beer drinkers so they enjoyed their Paninis made with turkey pastrami and fontina cheese with soda pop. They will be back.

As I was waiting to formulate a plan for my departure, another gentleman dressed for riding his windowless sports car came looking for a hot dog and directions to the police station. He stayed and helped me close the garage door. Now I could go forward with my plans to leave Woody's where I spent 6 perfectly delightful hours. I must find a unique OPEN sign.

Help is on the Way

Every morning I wake up to the same feeling. Do I really reject every bit of help that God sends my way? I certainly, that is to say, without a doubt look to Him to fix me fix this fix that. I have bullheadedly taken avenues that I clung to because I expected an outcome that was, well, to say the least miraculous.

To name a few.
I got my date to hang out at an event because I thought that Tony Bennett was going to be a surprise guest.

I rode the train with shady characters to an undetermined location of Paris, to find an elusive bag of goody for my then husband. There is way more to that story.

I missed out on back stage at the Stones plus row 9 or 10 for the show, because I thought I had met an insider and that I might have a foot in the door to share my son's company with them, Mick and the boys.

Yesterday I received one of those Miraculous outcomes. My friend and I drove my 10 year old Discovery up an old logging trail, as far as I was willing to go, then on foot we reached the summit of Rabun Bald. I had asked him to bring his binoculers so that I might be able to see my little piece of earth south east. The clouds parted we gazed at a few things that were much closer. Cool. Our walk back to the car was not hurried, we talked about the wild pigs in the area, looked down the path where he and friends ice climb, tipped over mushrooms to help identify edibles, searched for one or two larger locust trees, and stepped off the path to relieve ourselves. As we approached the car it was becoming quite evident that the clouds had once again gathered and were bringing delights with them. We closed the doors of the car buckled up and the large drops fell. The drive down was marked by the rushing water. We had our miracle. God smiles with rain too.

I will trust in the Lord to help me to be all He wants me to be. It's way more fun.

Waking up this morning was a treat. The dreams, where I seem to have the majority of my interpersonal communications, were vivid.

The part that comes to mind as I write was about Splendor Mountain abounding with activity.

Trucks were arriving with all kinds of products. Yesterday while I was awake, I ordered a dozen baskets from Texas. I am expecting 2 large tent poles to be delivered today. I delivered an extremely heavy SONY television to Curtis TV for repair. It was 12 years old and cannot be fixed, however, they can dispose of it properly.

Two central figures in the dream were my cousin and someone I knew in Indiana. These were both accomplices in some trouble I found myself in. In my dream they were attempting to be helpful.

A flurry of motion took place behind Sunrise Lodge. I saw a crowd was following a man with a camera, who managed to photograph an odd looking animal, which he said had a name for, something like a doghead. When to his right out of the woods appeared a cougar. He did not look in her direction, but got off a few flash photos. She moved towards me at which time I saw that the door to the inside of the lodge was high above my head. When I knocked at the door a child answered. I asked to be pulled up into the opening, all the while realizing that he did not have the strength to accomplish this. In those moments I saw that there were several others around me including a child. Now, I knew that this child could be saved. Then I woke up. One of my cats was next to me beginning to feel playful, with all claws at attention.

The most important thing to me in my waking and sleeping state is that I do not lose faith.
